Here at LoveKeepCreate life has suddenly become incredibly busy. We’re having loads of fun building up for the Christmas rush, getting our lovely personalised and keepsake stockings ready and working super hard on all your lovely baby clothes keepsake animals. So it was with some surprise recently I got a call about The Baby
Show’s Rattles to Riches competition we had entered quite a while ago – to be honest I had totally forgotten about it! We got through to the semi finals so Rachel and I went up to London for our first Dragons’ Den style pitch to eight baby industry professionals.
Rachel and I thoroughly enjoyed our excuse for 36hrs together in London without children in tow! The answerphone message they left afterwards said about giving us ‘feedback’ and from the tone and language I assumed we were not going through. I was therefore extremely pleasantly surprised when I did manage to speak to them to find out we’re going to the finals! I think they were enjoying a bit of Who Wants to be a Millionaire suspense ;-). This means doing our pitch in front of more baby industry professionals and all the lovely people visiting The Baby Show at the time. The ‘Dragons’ get the finalists down from four to two then it is the public who decide the winner. We’d love for you to come and see us – either doing our pitch (Friday 25 Oct 1.30pm) or at the stand we’ll be on (Stand B10 from Friday 25-Sunday 27 Oct 2013). We’re really excited about doing our first show and we’ll be doing a special offer for people that come along and purchase on the day. We’re also going to be launching our lovely new luxury gift sets. These will enable you to buy our keepsakes as a gift for people – there’ll be a lovely box containing a mailbag, information leaflet and order form.
Don’t worry if you miss these at the show, we’ll soon be getting them on the website too, in plenty of time for Christmas!
We’re also going to Plusher, another baby show in London at the Royal Horticultural Halls on Saturday 9 November – it promises to be really special. It’s the first time they’ve done the show and they’re going to be holding a special VIP/Press Launch.
What with appearing in Vogue too it has been a very exciting month for us! We’re so grateful for all your continued support. We love the fact that with so many of our lovely customers there is an ongoing relationship, especially through our Facebook page and all your lovely feedback and photos.
