All of us have extra special items of clothing that, for whatever reason, we just don't want to part with. Making lovely memory quilts, blankets, memory bears and cushions is a really wonderful to transform those items into keepsakes that you can treasure forever. We do make all our keepsakes from adult clothing. Often people do this to remember very special loved ones who've passed, but there are lots of other reasons too - remembering beautiful wedding gowns, old school uniforms, sports kits, birthdays, even the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games! These can be ordered as usual through the normal product pages but there are a couple of points worth bearing in mind about the clothing.
Obviously we don't need as many items per keepsake, but many people do choose to still send in several so that as many memories as possible can be incorporated. On the whole we only need about one decent size adult item for a standard size keepsake animal. Also, the keepsake animals can look quite different when non-stretchy material is used, often appearing smaller and with much thinner arms and legs. For this reason some people prefer choose the larger animal option. Our quilts, blankets and cushions also make great keepsakes for adult items and we can incorporate photographs and embroidery onto these too. These make really lovely keepsakes and are a really special way to treasure your memories.
