The uniform of a nurse or doctor is instantly recognisable and evokes memories of key times in our lives and careers. Our uniform bear is a lovely way of remembering the career of a nurse, doctor or other NHS worker and a fantastic way to treasure those items of clothing. We will always do our best to use the detailing from the uniform in the best way possible - just pop in a note if you have any special requests (please note that there may be an additional charge for more complicated requirements).
Our uniform memory teddies also make great gifts for friends, colleagues and loved ones. Why not gift one for a meaningful (as well as fun!) retirement present? They can also be a lovely way to remember someone you've lost, who's job meant everything to them or they dedicated their life to. We have made lots of lovely teddies from uniforms and we always find them, and the stories behind them, really touching.
Sizes
We only need 1 - 2 two items of adult clothing or 2 - 3 items of children's clothing to make each bear.
While our keepsakes can be machine washed at 40 degrees, we would recommend that they are hand washed and dried naturally. Do not tumble dry. The stuffing is 100% CE tested polyester.

Our images are to display what can be achieved with your clothes. All of our bears use the same pattern, and can be made from any clothes that you send us, whether baby, child or adult.

After finishing university i couldn’t just throw away my student nurse uniform. I decided to have it made into a bear so that I have a keepsake forever. The process for sending the clothing was simple and I was updated throughout including when my clothing was received. The bear is of excellent quality and it is something I will treasure forever! We are able to process orders from non-mainland UK addresses, including the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Ireland and the Channel Islands. Delivery surcharges for the relevant postcodes are calculated at the checkout.

We cannot accept personalised items back unless they are actually faulty. Please note that there is a wide variation in how the keepsakes come out, due to the very different natures of the fabrics we receive and the final item may well not look exactly like the pictures on our product pages. If you are not happy with your order for any reason please get in touch straight away to discuss it.
Non personalised items can be returned in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of delivery. We will then either replace the item or, if you prefer, offer a full refund of the goods less the original delivery charges. All return postage is the responsibility of the purchaser and we recommend that you obtain a proof of postage receipt from the Post Office.
